The dark concrete turned to sand and the red brick apartments coated in graffiti morphed into houses made of mud and small chuncks of rock. Daniel recognized the area before it even formed, "No...Not again..." He said shaking his head. His clothing became his heavy recon armor from the day of the ambush. The magnum re-appeard on his hip and in both hands he held a M249 SAW suppressive fire machine gun with a tripod. Michelle's clothing changed as well from her school clothes to a dark and light brown camo recon armor. She held a standard M16 as did the newly appeared Sgt. Winter and his best friend Greg. The rest of Daniel's squad, Lt. Hobbes, Private McKoleney, and Private First Class Kenning lay dead. Kenning had his intestines laying on the ground and Hobbes was missing half an arm and a leg. Bones splintered from Hobbes' wounds. McKoleney had half of his head missing exposing his brain and his half of a face shown a look of horror upon it, "Get down!" Daniel yelled and tackled Michelle behind the sandbags that guarded them. They were at a crossroads in the middle of the small town being assaulted on all sides.
